Bottega is located on the historic Vintage Estates Property, in one of the oldest wineries in Napa Valley, the Groezinger Estate.

The interior reflects the food, celebrating both the rustic and the refined. Olive greens, chocolate browns and deep reds create a warm palette. Design elements include distressed leathers in butter, Venetian plaster, imported Murano glass chandeliers and Donghia fabric.

Two indoor dining rooms with a private dining/wine room and bar, five communal tables made of forty year-old timbers, Calcutta d'Oro marble and recycled concrete. The outside covered Terrazzo has two wood-burning stone fireplaces, with both lounge and table seating.

French bistro food is my favorite, steak frites, a two-inch high quiche with bacon and onions, a salad with an egg on top finished with a perfect vinaigrette, a croque madame, some oysters and a glass of champagne.

These are foods that represent the most important kind of cooking there is because they're rooted in tradition. So when I thought of opening a restaurant that's more casual than The French Laundry, I decided to explore and deepen the culinary heritage that I admire so much.

A Bouchon can be, and should be, whatever you need it to be. It's a casual place, a social place, a place where people come to relax talk and to eat, a kind of home.

The foods of Tuscany are at the heart of Cantinetta Piero. Its menus focus on seasonal ingredients and regional products including seafood and shellfish from the nearby coast, game and meat dishes from the inland and mountain regions, and beautiful, fresh local produce.

Under a 15-foot vaulted brick ceiling with massive beams, the entrance to the restaurant leads guests past a wine display to tables, a pizza bar with authentic wood-burning oven, and the open kitchen with its salumi curing room.

The dining experience is casual, inviting and stimulating to the senses. The restaurant opens with a wall of glass doors 20 feet long miraculously sliding away to reveal the outdoor dining area ringed by olive trees.
