Sonoma County Wineries
Adrian Fog was born from the idea that Pinot Noir should have a sense of place and that the vineyard is the birthplace of great wine. All of our grapes are selected for their individuality. Our bottlings are determined by the wine's individuality; our largest bottling is 330 cases and the smallest is 23 cases. Picking, racking, and bottling are scheduled as close to the night of the full moon as possible.
Our vineyards provide a consistent source of the highest quality estate-grown grapes for our winery, nestled under tall old oak trees in the middle of Alegria Vineyards. Each year, we select about 20 percent of the crop for our Acorn wines. We sell the rest of our grapes to other premium wineries. All of our wines are made from our own estate-grown grapes.

Adler Fels - Tasting Room Adler Fels Winery was founded in Sonoma Valley in 1979 by David and Ayn Coleman. The winery soon established itself as a producer of award-winning Sauvignon Blanc, Gewuztraminer and Chardonnay from Sonoma County, especially Russian River Valley. Adler Fels later expanded our sourcing to include ultra-premium wine varietals from Napa Valley and other premier appellations throughout California.

Berthoud Vineyards Berthoud Wines are produced and estate bottled in the barn depicted on the label from vines that are meticulously managed to yield less than two tons of small, concentrated grapes per acre. The grapes are punched down by hand several times each day in traditional open-top redwood vats during fermentation to maximize color and flavor extraction in the gentlest manner possible.

The fruit in this Zinfandel comes from two excellent vineyards in Dry Creek Valley- Carreras Ranch, an 80 year old vineyard on the Dry Creek Bench, and Leila's Vineyard in the heart of Dry Creek Valley from Rockpile Road cuttings. Bluenoses, a nickname for Nova Scotians, originated in the early settlement days. Bluenoses were already here when Loyalists arrived in "Nova Scarcity." Branham Estate Wines - Tasting Room
This vineyard consists of Cabernet Sauvignon planted in 1986. In 2004 60 percent
of the acreage was replanted with new clones of Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel
and Petite Sirah--the first vintage from these vines will be 2007- In 1999 I
gained "viticulture control" of the Aves Vineyard in St. Helena. The Zinfandel
vines at Aves are 38-years old, dry farmed and produce delicious wines. These
three vineyards represent the heart and soul of Branham Estate Wines.
Buena Vista Carneros Winery - Tasting Room Founded in 1857, Buena Vista Carneros is California's oldest premium winery, and its history is as colorful as it is proud. Chalk Hill Estate Vineyards & Winery - Tasting Room The quest for quality is the basis for all winemaking decisions on the Chalk Hill Estate. The vineyardists coax Mother Nature to create perfect fruit that, once harvested, is delivered to the winery with only the most delicate touches. In the Winery, the Winemaker, Jordan Fiorentini, and her dedicated staff gently shepherd the grapes through the fermentation process to the bottle. Charles Creek Vineyard - Tasting Room The Charles Creek Vineyard Tasting Room & Gallery is open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. We're located at 483 First Street West in Sonoma, California (on the Plaza).
Chateau Diana Winery Chateau Diana is the home to a diverse selection of both table and premium wines. These wines are available under the brand names of Chateau Diana, Black Oak, Le Barron Ranch and 1221.
Chateau Felice Winery - Tasting Room Chateau Felice features two distinct groups of wines, the La Craie Series and the Black Label wines. While great wines are made in the vineyard, how they are processed and combined determines the different attributes and characters they display.
When Chateau St. Jean was established in 1973, the decision was made to preserve the Goff legacy. The Chateau was fully restored and opened to the public. It has since been listed in the National Trust for Historic Preservation. The fishponds in the shape of Lakes Michigan and Huron, and the arched footbridge, delight visitors just as they did 80 years ago. The Visitor Center and acclaimed gardens are open daily 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Christopher Creek Winery - Tasting Room Set in the rolling hills of the Northern part of the Russian River appellation, near Healdsburg, CA, Christopher Creek produces Syrah, Petite Sirah, Chardonnay, Zinfandel, Viognier, Port and Cabernet.
In 1991, Fred and his wife Nancy relocated the winery from Oakley to the Carneros region of Sonoma County on a historic 350-acre estate with new vineyards and facilities. While much of the cool Carneros region is planted to Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Merlot, Fred pioneered the planting of Rhone varietals including Syrah, Viognier, Marsanne and Roussanne.

Collier Falls Vineyards - Tasting Room Collier Falls produces annual private reserve bottlings of 1500 cases of estate-bottled Zinfandel, 300 cases of an estate Primitivo, less than 1000 cases of the "Hillside-Estate" Cabernet Sauvignon and 100 cases of a "Hillside-Estate" Petite Sirah.
Winemaking practices aim to express each sites unique qualities which thereby means a minimum of intervention. Overripe fruit, excessive physical and chemical manipulation of the must and over use of oak, all mask the subtleties provided by the vineyard. The terroirs chosen will be highlighted by keeping alcohol percentages lower, retaining natural vibrant acidity, gently handling the fruit and wine, native yeast ferments and minimal use of new oak.
Coturri Winery - Tasting Room Like all of the vineyards grown and maintained by the Coturri's, no pesticides, fungicides, or herbicides are ever used on the Estate vineyard, and it is certified by the CCOF. In 1996, Tony and Phil Coturri earned top honors from the Sonoma Valley Ecology Center for Environmentally Friendly Business Practices with their viticultural farming and winemaking practices.
Coyote Crest Vineyards Coyote Crest produces limited quantities of hand crafted Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah wines. Phil is vineyard manager and winemaker guaranteeing the highest quality from vine to wine. He controls all aspects of production, from rootstock and clone selection that is best suited to the soil and climate, to all winemaking decisions. The highest quality wine in the glass is always the goal.
D'Argenzio Winery - Tasting Room Our grapes are grown in the world-class regions of Sonoma County. They are aged from 18- 24 months in new French oak and American oak barrels. With an outstanding growing season in Sonoma Valley, we are primarily producing vintages from two appellations: Dry Creek and Russian River Valleys. Some special vintages hail from the Sonoma Coastal appellation of Green Valley micro area. Also in 2002 we released an excellent Merlot from Rutherford, adding Napa Valley to our repertoire.

Carinalli Vineyards Although we are a relatively young winery, our wines have won a number of awards. Our 2007 wines placed in 2009 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition with a double gold award for the Chardonnay and a gold award for the Pinot Noir.
Dashe Cellars - Tasting Room Focused on crafting small allotments of Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petite Syrah wines, Dashe Cellars marries techniques from California and the great winemaking regions of France. Davis Bynum Winery
Davis Bynum is distinguished as the first winery to produce a single vineyard pinot noir from the Russian River Valley. The vintage was 1973 and the grapes were from Joe Rochioli's now prized vineyard.

Dehlinger Winery
- Tastings Dehlinger does not have a regular tasting room. However, January thru August, we offer private tours and tasting on Fridays by appointment only. Please contact Carmen for more information or to make an appointment. At harvest, our vineyard crew gently hand-picks the Estate grown Chardonnay, Pinot noir, Syrah, and Cabernet that they have cared for over the growing season. Because the crew works in-house only, we are able to harvest in a manner that optimizes wine quality.
De La Montanya Vineyards - Tasting Room Grapes are hand-selected from 200 acres of estate vineyards in the Russian River, Sonoma Coast, Dry Creek and Alexander Valleys of Northern Sonoma County and crafted into exquisite, very limited production wines that reflect the classic characteristics of each varietal.

- Tasting Room In 2003, DeLoach Vineyards was purchased by the Boisset Family from Burgundy, France, when Jean-Charles Boisset fell in love with the Russian River Valley on his first visit to the area, immediately recognizing the similarities between Sonoma County and Burgundy.
deLorimier is quickly becoming the hot new "Cabernet House" in the gorgeous Alexander Valley. Already known for their signature Estate Meritage, Malbec and Chardonnay adding a "new" line up of single vineyard designate Cabernets seem like the perfect next step for Ken and Diane Wilson. Winning gold medals on these new Cabernets, just added to the excitement.
Derbes Wines - Tasting

Winery - Tasting Room Jim and Phyllis have always believed that fine wines are made in the vineyard. Grapes are purchased from small, carefully selected vineyards in the Dry Creek and Alexander Valleys and are used to produce the Sonoma County Zinfandel. Because one of these vineyards consistently produces such luscious Zinfandel, in 1995 Deux Amis began producing the vineyard designated Rued Vineyard Zinfandel.
Domaine St. George Domaine Saint George Winery is a working winery located in the heart of Sonoma County. It is dedicated to the production of high-quality wine varieties from various vineyards in Sonoma County and other prestigious wine regions of California.
Donum Estate - Tasting Room Off Site The Donum Estate comprises three vineyards uniquely suited to Pinot Noir and all farmed by Anne Moller-Racke to the same high standards. Planted by Anne in 1989, the Donum Ranch includes 70 acres of vines divided into 15 blocks and sub-blocks.
Draxton Wines Mike Draxton, ElRoy's winemaker and the president of Draxton Wines, has over 20 years of experience in winemaking and vineyard management, as well as an Enology Degree from U.C. Davis.

Sonoma - Tasting Room Following up on the much-enjoyed previous vintages of the Dreyer Sonoma Chardonnay, comes once again a value priced Sonoma County Chardonnay from the Dreyer Family. This 2007 release is comprised of grapes from selected mature vineyards in Sonoma County, with its fruit coming from vineyards in Alexander Valley and Sonoma Coast sub-appellations.

F. Teldeschi Winery On 70 acres in various parts of Dry Creek Valley, the Teldeschis grow Zinfandel, Petite Sirah and Carignane, some Cabernet, a little Gamay, some Malvasia, Cinsault and more.

Fanucchi Vineyards I've preserved, on our highly sought after tiny bench, a special selection of Zinfandel planted near the end of the 18th century and a very rare, naturally refreshing, aromatic, and flavorful, white-wine grape called Trousseau Gris. Both are special treats for the senses.

Ferrari-Carano owns over 19 estate vineyards in five different appellations totaling over 1,400 acres, in some of the finest wine growing regions in all of California. Mountain, bench land and valley floor vineyards spread over a fifty mile radius were chosen for their diversity of microclimates and soil. Our vineyards can be found in the acclaimed and diverse Alexander Valley, the desirable Russian River Valley with its cooler temperatures, picturesque Dry Creek Valley, at the southernmost end of the county, Napa/Carneros, and Sky High Ranch in peaceful and bucolic Anderson Valley.
Field Stone Winery - Tasting Room Field Stone's winery and vineyard estate is located conveniently on Highway 128, the key artery linking northern Sonoma County and Napa Valley (the winery is just seven miles from Healdsburg and fourteen miles from Calistoga). Foppiano Vineyards - Tasting Room Foppiano Vineyards is Sonoma County's oldest family owned winery, founded in 1896 by the Foppiano family. We are conveniently located just south of the town of Healdsburg on Old Redwood Highway. Take a self-guided tour of our vineyard at your own leisure pace enabling you to see our vines up close. We pour our current release wines every day with a focus on our Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and of course, our Petite Sirah.

Vineyards - Tasting Room Every wine is an expression. It is at the same time tangible and palpable, ephemeral and evanescent. It is the expression of the fruit itself, of the land on which it is grown and the conditions of each growing season.
Nestled on a sunny coastal ridge, overlooking the Pacific Ocean a mile below, our "True Sonoma Coast" vineyard is one of the closest, if not the closest, to the ocean in all of California. From the vineyard you can see the breaking surf and the misty silhouettes of Bodega Head and Pt. Reyes far below. The vineyard’s high elevation above the coastal fog and its proximity to the ocean provide a gentle, sunny and temperate climate that has proved to be very favorable for the slow and even ripening of Burgundian varietals.

Freestone Vineyards - Tasting Room The Freestone winery is situated in the midst of the vineyards. Taking advantage of the building's three stories, the force of gravity is harnessed to transport wine from fermenters to barrels. & Winery Harvest Moon Estate and Winery was founded on growing, producing and bottling world-class Russian River Valley wine in a balanced, elegant style. Our premise is that Russian River Valley Zinfandel can be just as layered and complex as any Pinot Noir or Bordeaux variety in the world and receive the same respect. The Pitts family has grown quality grapes in the Russian River Valley since 1976. In 2000, son Randy reverse migrated from San Francisco back to Sonoma County to assume the farming responsibilities at the family's modest nine-acre ranch. In conjunction with lessons on farming by his Dad and a few viticulture/enology courses at the local junior college, Randy made a barrel of homemade Zinfandel off the ranch's back block which turned out exceptionally tasty. Quickly concluding that properly farmed and judiciously fermented, Zinfandel has great capabilities of being California's own wine nobility. The growers-turned winemakers birthed their inaugural vintage in 2002 and look forward to making their Zinprint on the wine scene for decades to come.

Cellars - Tasting Room Limerick Lane Cellars is an estate producer. We do not buy grapes from other vineyards. As we are blessed with great terroir, the winemaking is basic and traditional. We use a non-interventionist approach. The grapes are picked at daybreak so the fruit is cold. This allows the wine making team to set the pace of the fermentation. After destemming the must is pumped to open-topped fermenters which are punched down up to seven times daily to regulate the temperature and allow the fermentation gases to escape.

Peay Vineyards Peay Vineyards is located in the far northwestern corner of Sonoma County approximately 4 miles from the Pacific Ocean near Sea Ranch. The vineyard is situated along the coast, but not on the very first ridge. We have a partially obstructed avenue formed by the Wheatfield Fork of the Gualala River that allows for some fog and copious cool air penetration. The vineyard sits on a hilltop that is not way up in the air, but just at the top of the fog level, low enough to be very cool, but high enough not to be too cool and wet to grow grapes. We think it is the perfect combination of climatologically factors.
Our Tasting Room, the oldest in Dry Creek Valley, is the heart of our winery. This is where you get to taste the fruit of our labor-and visit with our friendly staff. Talty Vineyards & Winery - Tasting Room Thanks to the Mother Nature factor during the 2007 vintage, our Estate Zinfandel is one of the most concentrated Estate Zins produced to date. Our goal each year is to drop fruit production in the vineyard to about 2- 2.5 tons of fruit per acre. The 2007 vintage only produced about 1.5 tons per acre. The clusters were small and the berries were about 2/3 the size of normal/or regular years. The resulting wine is dense, concentrated, and multilayered. What a Beauty.

Vineyards Our approach to winemaking at Tin Barn Vineyards is that the vineyards are the key to making great wine. All of the vineyards we work with are found in unique locations in Sonoma and Napa counties. We feel that the physical location of each vineyard and the dedication of the vineyard owners to producing great fruit provide us with outstanding grapes from which to make great wines.
Toad Hollow
Vineyards - Tasting Room Toad Hollow Vineyards has their own tasting room located in downtown Healdsburg at 409A Healdsburg Ave, just one block north of the Plaza. Everyday from 10:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. we are offering our wines to taste and a full line of Toad Dry Goods for purchase.
Topel Winery - Tasting Room The tasting room features a traditional tasting bar, crafted from mahogany, with copper inlays. The main room also includes an alcove with solid wood cabinetry for product displays, with a state-of-the-art video screen that plays our Telly Award-winning video - showcasing the winery and the wines - as well as a collage of photos representative of life at the winery.
Trentadue's Tasting Room - we are open 7 days a week from 10:00 to 5:00 pm daily (closed major holidays). We offer 4 complimentary tastings of our classic reds and charge $5.00 for port tastings and $5.00 for La Storia Reserve tastings.
Truett Hurst Winery - Tasting Room
Nestled in the heart of the Dry Creek Valley, there are 26 very special acres we
call Truett Hurst. Zinfandel and Petite Sirah vineyards, Dry Creek, 5 acres of
garden and a vibrant tasting room made of eco-friendly materials are just some
of the things that make us unique. Where else can you take in Coho Salmon,
Steelhead trout, otters, ducks, sheep, herbs, olives, beneficial insect habitat,
heirloom fruits and vegetables, all over a glass of delicious wine?
Wine lovers are invited to sample our wines at our two tasting rooms - one in
Calistoga in the Napa Valley and one in Healdsburg in the Russian River Valley.

Vineyards - Tasting Room Unti Vineyards is a small, family-owned and operated winery specializing in red varietal wines with vineyard personality. George and his son Mick believe Dry Creek Valley’s climate is ideal for making full-bodied, fruity reds from Zinfandel, Rhone and Italian varietals. The winery, established in 1997, produces small lots of estate grown Zinfandel, Syrah, Grenache, Barbera, Sangiovese, Petite Sirah and a Dry Rose.

- Tasting Room Since August of 1998 we have been comfortably ensconced in our new Tasting Room. As you stand and sample our wines you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view out eight huge bay windows that look directly into old vineyards planted in 1924 with the Mayacamas Mountains as a backdrop. The new Tasting Room also provides windows looking into the cellar were you can see the barrels of wine aging and the winemakers busy at work making those special handcrafted boutique wines we all enjoy so much.
Westwood Winery - Tasting Room Westwood produces wines that satisfy desires for depth, structure, balance and finesse. Our wines are terroir-driven and food-friendly. Westwood's Annadel Estate Vineyard is planted to Dijon and heritage clones of Pinot Noir, several clones of Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre, Counoise and Tannat.

Woodenhead Winery The winemaking at Woodenhead is pure and simple, or if you will, Burgundian done California style. Our wine is handcrafted from a hard labor of love in tune to the natural rhythm of the land, the water, the air and the seasons. No mechanical pumping is employed. Inoculated yeast and malolactic cultures, hand punching, basket pressing, French oak and California fruit! Small and unique lots are what we're after, ultra premium being the goal.
