Oakville Wineries
The tasting includes 2 vintage samples of our Chardonnay, 2 vintages of Cabernet and one taste of Dolce, all paired with artisan cheeses. Far Niente
- Wine Tastings $50 Since our first vintage of Chardonnay in 1979 and the introduction of Cabernet Sauvignon in 1982, Far Niente has held true to its philosophy of producing estate wines with a consistent house style. While many wineries make wine at several different quality levels, Far Niente produces one Chardonnay and one Cabernet Sauvignon, each of the highest quality possible, from our estate vineyards. If the wine doesn't meet expectations, it doesn't make the final blend. Folie a Deux Winery
- Wine Tastings $10-$15 Located directly off of Highway 29 next to Mustards Grill, the Folie a Deux tasting room is warm and inviting for all guests to the Napa Valley. Come enjoy our beautiful grounds and don't forget to bring your picnic lunch. Tasting room hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
Miner Family Vineyards
- Wine Tastings $20-$30 Miner has identified, sought and secured a number of California's finest vineyard sites to produce and showcase a wide array of varietals. Each wine is crafted in a style to encapsulate the distinctive elements and the indelible fingerprints of their respective vineyards. This combination of excellent vineyard sites along with passionate and thoughtful winemaking injects the necessary components for creating profoundly joyful wines. We have several options for tastings at Miner Family Vineyards. Between the hours of 11 and 5 you can join us without appointment, the cost of the wine tasting is $20. We also provide private tastings and tours, the cost also $20, these are by appointment only. A third option is a private top shelf tasting, in which we can design the tasting of our premiums wines, mainly Cabernet Sauvignons, Pinot Noirs, Bordeaux blends, to your preference. The cost of this private tasting is $50 per person, and is complimentary with the purchase of a case of any wines from our library. Nickel & Nickel
- Wine Tastings $50 Guided tours and tastings are offered several times each day, by appointment. Tours begin at the Sullenger House, a restored, 1884 Queen Anne-style home, and include a walk through the historic Nickel & Nickel farmstead, restored 18th century Gleason Barn, authentic post-and-beam fermentation barns and underground barrel aging cellar. The tour ends in the dining salon of the Sullenger House with a seated, guided tasting of a selection of four single-vineyard wines. Paradigm Winery
- Wine Tastings $0 Paradigm Winery, located in the Oakville appellation of Napa Valley, hand-crafts small quantities of estate-bottled red wine. We're known for our Merlot and our Cabernet Sauvignon, though we also produce a tiny amount of Zinfandel and Cabernet Franc. Regardless of the varietal, our wines are a rich expression of the vineyard we've been farming now for twenty-nine years.
Robert Mondavi Winery
- Wine Tastings $20-$30 Advanced reservations are recommended. Approximately 75 minutes in length, this renowned winery tour follows the path of the grape from the vineyard to the cellar to the finished wine. Guests view our famous To Kalon Vineyard and the inner workings of the winery, including fermentation and barrel aging. The tour concludes with a seated educational tasting of three wines. Rudd
Vineyards & Winery - Wine Tastings $50 -
Cave Tours Beginning with the 2000 vintage, Rudd is producing red wine from the Oakville vineyard that has been re-planted to the five Bordeaux varietals of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec and Petit Verdot. Rudd Winery is open for visits, by appointment only, Tuesday through Saturday. We are closed on Sundays, Mondays and on major holidays.
Saddleback
Cellars - Wine Tastings $20 Nestled in the heart of Oakville, Saddleback Cellars welcomes all visitors by appointment 10am to 4pm, every day of the week. The winery is a laid-back, no-frills place that is wholly focused on making the best wines of Napa Valley. Come experience the way Napa used to be. Visitors get to taste outside at the base of the vineyard and they can picnic on the property while tasting our wines. Silver
Oak Cellars - Wine Tastings $20-$45 Tasting rooms at both of our estates are open Monday - Saturday, 9am to 4pm. We are closed Sundays and some holidays. We kindly ask that groups of 8 or more please call ahead to schedule an appointment for the Current Release Tasting. Reservations are required for all tours. Vinoce Vineyards
