Anomaly consists of three vineyards that surround the winery. The 2001 vintage was made entirely from the grapes grown on the two small vineyards immediately adjacent to the winery. In October 2000, five more acres of prime cabernet land were purchased adjacent to Anomaly's existing vineyards. Vineyard manager, Doug Wight, oversaw the planting of Cabernet, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot vines in the Spring of 2001. WCW tasted the 2007 Cab in April, 2010 and we were blown away. Although we can't say for certain that this is the best Cab we've ever had, we cannot remember a better one. The host (Steve) was courteous and had the unassuming nature of someone who knows he makes a great wine.
The elegant and supple characteristics of Pillar Rock result from the fully ripe hand picked grapes. We then select the best vineyard grapes to fully reveal the combination of site, soil, and weather. Cary Gott, the winemaker, then adds his magical touch. The grapes are custom crushed and aged in the New French oak barrels from the Never and Allier forests. Our highly acclaimed 1999 vintage barrel lot achieved #2 at the 2001 Napa Valley Wine Auction. The 2000 vintage won the ultimate prize of being #1 at the barrel auction. The 2001 and 2002 were rated outstanding by James Laube, the Wine Spectator.
13 Appellations Thirteen has been something of a contrarian's wine from the beginning. Until now, there had not been a single wine that attempted to define Napa Valley as a whole. It is, after all, a daunting task to collect grapes from every soil type, every microclimate, every terroir. And really, that's not the trend these days, what with everyone trying to have their wine express increasingly smaller plots of land.
Adastra Vineyards began as four acres of Chardonnay and four acres of Merlot. Emboldened by the enthusiastic reception of wineries to the fruit, Chris expanded plantings of existing cultivars to seven acres each and daringly added six acres of the heartbreak grape, Pinot noir. Since 2005, Adastra's vineyards have been certified by the California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF), which has among the strictest standards in the nation for organic agriculture. Grapegrowers must farm their grapes organically according to CCOF standards for three years prior to certification.

Antica Napa Valley offers private tours and tastings by appointment only. Each guest is able to customize their visit by letting us know what they would like to experience. Visits include an overview of the estate, tour of the caves and a tasting of the current release wines. The area was selected for its rich volcanic soil, 1500 feet elevation and moderate microclimate which provide perfect condition for growing high quality Cabernet Sauvignon. Our wines are hand-crafted and aged to be enjoyed upon release, with a depth of flavor, great acidity and a promise of a long aging. Artesa Winery - Tasting Room The Visitor Center at Artesa is a delight to behold. Our guests reach it by a sweeping staircase bordered by cascading waterfalls. The stairs ascend past beautiful fountains, reflecting pools and sculpture. At the top, visitors are struck by the panoramic vistas of Napa Valley, Carneros and the San Francisco Bay. A broad walkway leads past manicured lawns to the winery entrance.
Astrale e Terra Arcturus is named for the 4th brightest star in the sky, a star astronomers classify as a Red Supergiant. This symbolic name was chosen because the Arcturus Cabernet Sauvignon is considered our Red Supergiant. This Bordeaux style Cabernet Sauvignon is blended with the perfect amounts of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot from our Estate Vineyard in the mountains of the Atlas Peak Appellation. Baldacci Family Vineyards - Tasting Room Today, Baldacci Family Vineyards includes 17 acres of Estate Cabernet Sauvignon grapevines, an onsite winemaking facility and a unique system of wine caves beneath a volcanic knoll. The expert vineyard management team carefully nurtures the vine growth, ensuring that the grapes reach their maximum potential to create concentrated flavors and excellent tannic structure.
Barlow Vineyards - Tasting Room Barlow Vineyards is a 50 acre estate founded in 1994, located between Calistoga and St. Helena at the upper end of the Napa Valley in an area well known for producing intense red wines. The first year the existing 25 year old Cabernet Sauvignon block was found to be badly diseased and was eliminated, leaving only one smaller block of disease resistant Cabernet Sauvignon which was planted in 1992. Vineyards - Tasting Room Since the winery's first 100 cases in 1989, Barnett Vineyards has grown to approximately 6,000 cases total production. Rattlesnake Hill and Spring Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignons are the focus at the estate with total Cabernet production varying between 2,100 and 3,000 cases annually. Boyd Family Vineyard Our Zinfandel is from one of Napa's most prestigious vineyards, Green & Red, located in Chiles Valley. Green & Red is a highly regarded grower of Zinfandel and we are thankful that we were able to secure a small amount of their fruit. The wine is full of pepper, spice and blackberry jam.
Brandlin Vineyard We brought to Brandlin Vineyard all the lessons of Cuvaison Estate Wines' 38 years of viticulture - great care in the study of sun exposures and soil types, and profound respect for the environment. Our intention is to honor the Brandlin family with a namesake vineyard that produces intense and elegant Cabernet Sauvignon.

- Tasting Room A must for wine lovers seeking excellence, the setting is one of the most peaceful in the Napa Valley with a stone castle carved into a hillside overlooking a Chinese garden and lake and vineyards reaching out to the base of Mt. St. Helena. In 1976 Chateau Montelena put California at the forefront of the wine world. That year a who's-who of the French wine and food establishment gathered for a grand tasting at the Inter-Continental Hotel in Paris. Four white Burgundies were tasted against six California Chardonnays. When the scores were tallied, the French Judges were convinced that the top-ranking white wine was one of their own. - Tasting Room In the southernmost corner of Napa Valley and Sonoma County lies our 400 acre estate vineyard in the Carneros region. This site is characterized by fog and cool breezes from the San Pablo Bay, gently rolling hills and dense clay soils. Controlling all farming aspects within our estate vineyard gives Cuvaison an advantage in producing the best quality fruit thereby minimizing over manipulation at the winery. Cuvaison complies with the code of Sustainable Winegrowing Practices and holds certifications from Bay Area Green Business and Napa Green Certified Land and Winery.

Vineyards Dalla Valle Vineyards is a small, family-owned winery that was founded in 1986. The winery and vineyards are located on a plateau 400 feet above the valley floor, in the eastern hills of Oakville, Napa Valley. Tasting Room Del Bondio winery's location in the middle of the Rutherford appellation is
one of the most desirable in Napa Valley. The famous "Rutherford Bench" was a
name given to distinguish the long, snaky alluvial band stretching along the
west side of the middle of Napa Valley. This area is where many of the premier
Cabernet Sauvignon Vineyards are grown. Rutherford wines are associated with
"Rutherford Dust" a quality of earthy, dusty, oak flavor, which is very pleasing
to connoisseurs of fine Cabernet wine. Del Bondio takes advantage of its

Detert Family Vineyards
Located along the western foothills of Napa Valley's celebrated Oakville district, adjacent to Crabb's historic To Kalon estate, the Detert family vineyard has grown outstanding Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon since 1953. Diamond Creek Vineyards Founded in 1968, Diamond Creek is California's first exclusively Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Vineyard. Visionary pioneer Al Brounstein defied modern conventions and planted Bordeaux varietals on secluded Diamond Mountain. Dominari is grown in the Atlas Peak Appellation of Napa Valley. The 9th leaf vines are grown by Gaudeamus Vineyards. Located on Napa's Highest mountain range, the vines live on gentle rolling countryside sheltered by mountains and tall oaks. This vineyard produces less than two tons per acre of fruit. Quality not quantity! The crushed berries produce an intense ruby colored wine with romantic aromas followed by a sumptuous mouth giving way to a luscious finish.

Dunn Vineyards Dunn Vineyards produces two labels, Howell Mountain and Napa Valley. Both wines are one hundred percent cabernet sauvignon. We produce around 2500 cases of Howell Mountain and about 1500 cases of Napa Valley. The Howell Mountain wines consist of one hundred percent Howell Mountain fruit. The Napa Valley wines include up to 15 percent Napa Valley floor fruit with the remainder of the fruit coming from Howell Mountain. Dutch Henry Winery

Green and Red Vineyard Green & Red Vineyard, named for its red iron soils veined with green serpentine, is located in the steep hills on the east side of Napa Valley. The planting was started in 1972 on ground originally in vineyards in the 1890's. The vineyards are a small percentage of the 200-acre property, which ranges in elevation from 900 to 2,000 feet. - Tasting Room In 1984, at the age of 22, Michael Honig, took over management of the vineyard and winery. With a lot of hard work and a beat up pickup truck, Michael managed to get their Sauvignon Blanc into most fine restaurants in California. From there, production and distribution grew. In 1987, in addition to the Sauvignon Blanc for which they were already known, they began producing small amounts of Cabernet Sauvignon.
Hoopes Vinyard - Tasting Room on and off site: Cult Wine Central With no plans to make his own wine, Spencer Hoopes first planted the 8 acre parcel next to his home in Oakville back in the late 80's. For years he sold his grapes to other vintners but after hearing so many winemakers tell him that his vineyard produced the best quality fruit that they were getting, he decided in 1999 to take a shot at producing his own wine. Today, the annual production remains at about 1,000 cases a year and, with consistent quality, an enthusiastic following has started to build. Howell at the Moon Vineyards and Winery Our 2006 Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon opens with aromas of spice, blackberry, plum, and tea. The palate is full and rich, yielding violet, black currant, and cherry fruit balanced with graham cracker, fall leaf, sandalwood and pencil shavings, all delivered on firm but open grained tannins. Vineyards The Howell Mountain Vineyards brand was originally established in 1988 to handcraft limited releases of Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon from the Beatty Ranch and Black Sears vineyards in Napa Valley's renowned Howell Mountain region. From their elevations of over 1,800 feet, Howell Mountain grapes are known to produce exceptionally bold, full-bodied and rich wines.
Hunnicutt is a family owned and operated winery founded in 2002. Our varietal focus is Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Chardonnay. The name "Hunnicutt" was Justin's great grandmother's maiden name, is Justin's middle name and the middle name our daughter, Parker Hunnicutt Stephens. To accompany Hunnicutt, we added a companion brand in 2009 called Cutt that will focus on producing wines other than Zin, Cab and Chard. Ilona The Ilona vineyard is located near the middle of the Howell Mountain appellation in the Napa Valley. Some of the most powerful, intense "boutique" red wines out of California are grown in this area, situated in the northeastern hills of the valley. The Ilona vineyard is small - only 10 acres - with very little slope, and is nestled meadow-like on an otherwise rugged terrain. - Tasting Room All Jarvis wines are produced from estate vineyards, located high above the city of Napa, in the beautifully rugged mountains between Mt. George and Milliken Canyon at the southeastern end of the Napa Valley. The vineyards are planted in gently sloping meadows one thousand feet above the valley floor. As the cool maritime air passes over the Carneros flats and begins flowing into the valley, it falls about seven degrees in temperature for the thousand feet of vertical rise. As such, our vineyards tend to be cooler by several degrees than the famous Carneros region. Two of our wines offered are of our award-winning Cabernets from Napa Valley's renowned Stags Leap District growing region and are available for a limited time. We also offer a Chardonnay and a Syrah.

The land is on the edge of an alluvial fan, which provides deep and somewhat rocky soils. The area enjoys nearly daily breezes. Keenan Winery - Tasting Room Chardonnay was the first Keenan wine released and it immediately established the winery as a leading producer of Chardonnay. The Cabernet grapes came into leaf and the resulting Cabernet vintages were immediate successes. In 1978, Keenan purchased a small volume of Merlot grapes as a way to also acquire some desired Chardonnay grapes. Vineyard Lagier Meredith Syrah is a vineyard wine. Our responsibility is to safeguard the wine during its passage from vineyard to bottle and to protect it from too much winemaking. Our Syrah has been described as having one foot in the Northern Rhone and one foot in Northern California. The flavor is reminiscent of the Northern Rhone with its spice and white pepper and violet aromas, but it has more extract and body. In many red wines, big color usually means big tannin, but (for reasons we may never understand) our wine is not harshly tannic so it drinks well when it is young. Lail

The Rutherford Ranch Winery is on the site of the original Round Hill Winery started in the 1970's by Ernie and Virginia Van Asperen. The estate vineyards were replanted with superior vines and the winery and Tasting Room have undergone significant renovations. S.P. Drummer Wines The sixth vintage of S.P. Each has a different elevation, soil, and exposure to the elements and each block produces something unique. This great diversity of steep hillside plantings is the source of consistent, powerful, and distinctive red wines.

Vineyards - Tasting Room White Rock Winery is a working underground winery. The 6000 sq. ft. of caves were dug from the hillside of white volcanic ash that is typical of our property, the same rock that was quarried from the property in the 1860's to build the original winery building. Caves are the ideal environment for making and storing wine. The constant humidity and temperature safeguard the beautiful fruit flavors in our wines and keep them from drying out and becoming harsh in the barrel.
